How to stop asking AI the same question

Most repeated AI questions don't look repeated, because the numbers change each time. If AI does the same steps again, you've asked the same question.

Three signs a question is a repeat

  1. You've asked something like it before.
  2. Only the numbers or names changed.
  3. You'll need the answer again next week.

What repeating really costs

  • AI usage: every message comes out of your plan's allowance.
  • Time: you type, wait and read every time.
  • Your answers stay stuck in old chats, so comparing them means copying them out by hand.

When you should just ask
